Biosketch

I am an engineer and a second year PhD Student in Mario Pende’s Team “Cell growth control by nutrients.”
After a Master in biochemistry and biotechnology at the Paul Sabatier University in Toulouse, I worked for 3 years as a research assistant at McGill University in Canada, in an academic research laboratory headed by Tomi Pastinen. I worked in new approaches in order to study allelic expression in collaboration with the Illumina company.
I joined Mario Pende's lab in 2010 as an engineer and I started to stablish new strategies and tools for genome editing and phospho-proteome analysis. I developed a strong expertise in the functional study of kinases and discovery of S6K-substrates. In 2022 I started a PhD to study further my favorite kinase, S6K.
