Science extravaganza at INEM
On October 11th and 12th, the Necker Institute for Sick Children (INEM) hosted its very first edition of the Science Festival, opening its doors to the public for the first time. This milestone event allowed visitors to discover scientific research through interactive workshops, offering a unique behind-the-scenes look at our labs and scientists.
On Friday, we welcomed middle and high school students, allowing them to explore fascinating topics such as cellular machinery, proteins, and therapeutic strategies against cancer. The day also featured a scientific photo exhibition showcasing the institute's innovative projects and a tour of the green rooftop terrace.
On Saturday, for the very first time, the general public was invited to participate in interactive workshops and meet our researchers, who shared the wonders of science in a fun and accessible way.
A big thank you to all participants, volunteers, and researchers for making this first edition a great success. We look forward to doing it all again next year!
