I am from Verona, Italy and I got my Bachelor in Biothecnology at the University of Verona in 2017. I moved for my Master in Functional Genomic to the University of Trieste where I graduated in 2020 after one year of internship in the lab of Prof. Giannino del Sal with a thesis on lipid metabolism regulation by mutant p53 in breast cancer. During the same year, I joined Mario Pende's lab at INEM for my PhD. I defended my thesis in November 2023 discussing the role of S6K in the neurological manifestation of Tuberous Sclerosis Complex. I am particularly interested in intracellular signal transduction, in particular in the mTOR pathway and its role in genetic diseases called "mTORopathies".
