Celebrating Community at INEM: From Scientific Pizza to Olympiads
At INEM, we strive to create a vibrant and engaging work environment that extends beyond our scientific pursuits. Our personnel association, HappyNEM, has been instrumental in organizing a variety of activities that bring our staff together. Today, we are excited to share highlights from two recent events: our Scientific Pizza and INEM’s Olympiads.
Scientific Pizza: Sharing Science Over a Slice
Scientific Pizza is a monthly gathering where young scientists, including PhD students, postdocs, interns, and tech engineers, come together to share their research and enjoy some delicious pizza. This event fosters collaboration and knowledge exchange in a relaxed setting.
This month, we had insightful presentations by Clémence Duruel and Bastien Aznar, who shared their latest projects and techniques. The event provided an excellent opportunity for young scientists to connect, discuss their work, and explore potential collaborations.
INEM’s Olympiads: Fun and Games for Everyone
INEM’s Olympiads consisted of a series of mini-games designed to foster teamwork and friendly competition among our staff. Teams comprised of members from different departments competed for sweet prizes, followed by a happy hour to unwind and celebrate.
Teams participated in a variety of fun challenges, from relay races to brain teasers, showcasing both physical and mental agility. Winners were awarded candy, and the event concluded with a lively happy hour, bringing everyone together to celebrate their efforts and enjoy some downtime.
These events exemplify the dynamic and engaging culture at INEM. They not only provide a break from our daily routines but also strengthen our sense of community and collaboration. We look forward to many more such events organized by HappyNEM.
Stay tuned for our upcoming activities and join us in making INEM an even more vibrant place to work!
