Biosketch

Vahid Asnafi, M.D-PhD, studied Medicine at Paris Descartes University, which laid the foundation for his career in the field of laboratory Hematology. His commitment to advancing knowledge and expertise led to significant milestones.
In 2003, Dr. Asnafi obtained his PhD at Descartes University, further deepening his academic pursuits. His dedication to research took him to Centre d’Immunologie de Marseille-Luminy, where he engaged in post-doctoral studies under the mentorship of Pierre Ferrier.
Returning to Necker in 2005, Dr. Asnafi's accomplishments earned him the title of full Professor of Hematology in 2012. Currently, he holds the position of head of the Onco-Hematology laboratory and co-directs the "Normal and Pathological Lymphoid Differentiation Team" at INEM, with Pr Macintyre. Dr. Asnafi's work has led to widespread recognition, including the « Grand prix de la Fondation de France » prize.
