Meryem Baghdadi recipient of the 2024 ATIP-Avenir Award
We are proud to celebrate Meryem Baghdadi's recognition with the prestigious ATIP-Avenir Award supported by Fondation Bettencourt Schueller, for her research on the mechanical properties of the intestinal stem cells niche and their role during embryonic development and in disease.
This award not only underscores the excellence of her project but also supports the establishment of her independent research group at INEM.
Since 2005, the Fondation Bettencourt Schueller has been a partner of the INSERM Avenir program. In 2009, the Avenir program merged with the ATIP program by the CNRS. The Foundation has since supported the ATIP-Avenir program which promotes the return or settlement in France of very high-level young researchers, with a research project of exceptional quality, and wishing to create their own team.
Welcome to INEM, Meryem, and congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!
