Anne Jamet is a researcher and medical microbiologist at Necker Children's Hospital, where she launched microbial genomics and clinical metagenomics analyses in 2019. After discovering novel antibacterial toxins in Neisseria species and bacteriophages, she decided to focus on translational research on infections caused by the major human pathogen S. aureus.
Her main ambition is to contribute to the advent of precision microbiology for patients by improving our understanding of the virulence of clinical strains.
