Bing Su is Director of the Shanghai Institute of Immunology and Chair of the Department of Immunology and Microbiology at Shanghai JiaoTong University School of Medicine, where he also holds a KC Wong Chair Professorship. He co-founded the SJTU-Yale Institute for Immune Metabolism and is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Immunobiology at Yale University.

Dr. Su received his PhD from Yale University and conducted postdoctoral training with Dr. Michael Karin at UC San Diego. He began his academic career at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he became a tenured Professor before returning to Yale in 2006. His research focuses on mTOR and MAPK signaling pathways in immune regulation and vascular biology. He has published over 110 peer-reviewed papers (15,000+ citations) and serves as Editor-in-Chief of Current Immunology and Associate Editor for Journal of Molecular Cell Biology and Current Research in Immunology.
